Reasons And Solution Of "Treatment After Pollution"

"Treatment after pollution"is a common phenomenon both in developed country and developing country. The economical theory has proved that"treatment after pollution"is inevitable. Then some empirical researches get the same conclusion.As a term of developing, both the producer and the consumer vote"treatment after pollution". They all obey the golden rule"utility maximization". With economic analyzing, such as"benefit cost analysis"and"demand and supply balance", it is proved that"treatment after pollution"is inevitable, as consumers have different need in different time.There is an inverted"U"shaped relation between economic index and environmental index, which called environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC)。EKC is often taken to explain"treatment after pollution"process in both developing countries and developed countries. Empirical studies of EKC have shown four different relationships between environmental degradation and economics growth. This article made a Chinese EKC to forecast CO2 and COD emissions. In a short term, the emissions of CO2 will increase while the emissions of COD are already in stable status.This article also gets some suggestion to control"treatment after pollution"for developing counties. Eventually, we take some advices to improve the study work of EKC: improve index system; take inequity of incomes as a coefficient; consider international trade as a factor; make a better model such as mechanics model.
