In the background of developing bactericides used in oilfield, to make environment-friendly bactericides and research its application, a new type bactericide used in oilfield has been developed and the evaluation on its performance has been carried on .The Fe(VI)-based bactericide of which the ferrate(K2FeO4) is the main medicament, is a type of oxidizing bactericide. It can eliminate various kind of bacterium widely. At the same time, it can also eliminate SRB, TGB, FB in the oil field water, etc. By researching this topic, it paved way for the development of the oilfield water treatment's new bactericide.In the experiments, K2FeO4 was synthesized by an improved hypochlorite oxidation by using potassium hydroxide instead of sodium hydroxide. Through indoor synthesis experiment of this bactericide, the best ratio of raw materials, the synthesis temperature and other factors have been initially set. Then 0.11% alkaline solution is confected by mixing potassium ferrate solid powder with 26 mol/L potassium hydroxide solution ,which is the working fluid of bactericide namely. Finally, the content of SRB, TGB, FB in the oilfield water sample is determined, bactericidal coefficient is calculated and its sterilizing effect is evaluated by adopting the dilution method. The sterilization experiment has studied the sterilizing effect on SRB, TGB, FB, which is produced by the Fe(VI)-based bactericide. The suitable concentration scope of the bactericide has been confirmed, and its smallest concentration of sterilization is determined. The effect of the initial pH of the reaction system, the reaction temperature, and contact reaction time is investigated by tests. At the same time, the effects produced by the Fe(VI)-based bactericide preparated by the different alkaline solution have been studied. The sterilizing effect which the ferrate and the ultraviolet ray cooperate is inspected by tests. The sterilizing effect of compound bactericide made up of the potassium ferrate and other bactericides is further researched.According to the characteristics of the Fe(VI)-based bactericide, the method of applying the bactericide in oil field water sterilization process has been determined .From the perspective of disinfecting, the experiments proved that the Fe(VI)-based bactericide can effectively kill SRB,TGB,FB in oilfield water for the first time.
