Although the optics property of BOPP (Biaxial Orientated Polypropylene) cigarette packing film has been greatly improved to show the good effect of brand, the film still shows poor abrasion resistance. To be specific, the strip package is beautiful and shining when packed preliminary, but it will be scratched and fogged because of friction during transportation. For a long time, there will be a white-powder like appearance on the surface of the package of cigarette because of wear. It is called "wear" in the industry of cigarette. It is obvious in deep color package. The worn package break down the intrinsic effect and beauty, so it will break the effect of packaging and bring bad feeling to the consumers. So far there are some discussions in the cigar industry, but no perfect scheme can be found.On the study on the principle of wear and how to represent the extent of wear, this paper figure out that the reasons are: The additives in the film can lead to wear if it's not in a proper proportion, for it will be scraps in the using; and the hardness of the surface of film is low, it's apt to be worn; and the crystal is low hence low the hardness of the film.In order to reduce the effect of this problem, in the same time have no negative effect on the film, this paper propose way to enhance the film on the homework of materials and process, and do process experiments.(1) Using different terpolymer and binary copolymer joining into the surface of film to contrast, studying the performances and the influence.(2) Choosing ABS04S elastomer is used as additive into the surface, in this study the influence of ABS04S proportion to fraction and wearness.(3) Rectify the processvariable in stretching both in MD and TD to study the influence to crystal and wearness.Based on the work and process practice mentioned above, this paper can offer these conclusions as below:(1) The binary copolymer PP is used as surface sealing material to increase the surface evenness, to increase the stiffness of surface, hence decrease the worn and enhance the performance of wearness.(2) ABS04S elastomer is used as additive to absorb the impact force during transportation. Glass micro-ball is used as surface anti-adhesive. It can decrease the fiction because of its shape. And conclude that the 5% proportion of ABS04S can give the best performance of wearness.(3) As decreasing the temperature of stretching of TD can enhance the crystallinity and the egree of orientation, in this way control the speed of additive separateness indirectly, in the same time to enhance the surface evenness. This paper also conclude that when the temperature of stretching of TM is 166/144/130 the performance is the best.
