This thesis was guided by the theory of millimeter wave countermeasure and based on a large number of experiments, in view of the characters of low-temperature expansible graphite, summarized the best process flows and reaction conditions of electroless copper plating. Through the methods of XRD,TG,DTA, got the optimum expanded temperature of low- temperature expansible graphite. According to 3 millimeter wave and 8 millimeter wave countermeasure experiments, analyzed the influence of electroless plating to the millimeter wave countermeasure. Obtained the following conclusions from the experiments:(1) Got well copper coated low-temperature expansible graphite using hypophosphite as reducing agent. The best reaction conditions: nickel ions concentration is 0.008 mol/L,pH is 10,temperature is 70℃.(2) TG,DTA and expanded experiment proved: the best expanded temperature of copper coated low-temperature expansible graphite is 300℃.(3) In the experiment of 3 millimeter wave countermeasure, copper coated low-temperature expansible graphite got a 6.9dB attenuation, it increased 34% than the low-temperature expansible graphite. In the experiment of 8 millimeter wave countermeasure, it got a 19.3 dB attenuation when the loading capacity reached 16g/m~2. Electroless nickel plating had few relationship with millimeter wave countermeasure.(4) After electroless copper plating ,the vermicular graphite had great dispersity and mixed with a certain amount of metal micro-powder, it improved the effect of millimeter wave countermeasure.
