| Fostering numerical control talents become an urgent problem to be solved with the general application of CNC technology.The virtual NC system plays an important role in NC training.According to the deficiency of current NC simulation method and commercial software system,virtual NC experimental system has been developed.Simulation to processing environment and work state of the CNC equipment is carried out.The 3-D demo system of machining process has also been made.The remote training system is developed as one part of the client system which involves electromechanical integration design and flexible experimental platform.Using PC as client,the training staffs could have an access to virtual machining process by the simulation system.After the right result of the simulation is confirmed by the simulation system,an application is sent to the principal controller through local area network. And then the right operation is executed is the CNC device.The education model which combines the virtual and reality could give students more complete training and study,and it could also improve efficiency and save cost.Developed with VB from the under stratum directly,a three-dimensional NC simulation experimental system which contained lathe,milling machine and four degrees of freedom manipulator has been developed in the paper.The advantage made use of the OpenGL and the 3DSMAX,make use of 3DS MAX to set up a mold to the complicated model,Then convert it to the OpenGL,carry out an interactive animation with the OpenGL.Based on these researches above,related modules of the 3-D NC machining simulation experiment system are developed and the modules are integrated.At last,the system with complete function is built. |
