| Mass Customization is a new mode of production, which according to the special needs of each customer and using the benefits of mass production, producing customized products in order to achieve the integration of customer's personality and of mass production.This paper takes key technologies of MC(mass customization) as research object and takes meridian tire mold as application object. It also introduces some research on product configuration management theories and analyze the customization of meridian tire mold. The meridian tire mold is divided into different modules and the parts encoding system is set up in this paper. This paper provides a kind of arithmetic about the exchange program between relational database and the tree structure and discusses the process of customization on web. It also introduces some other key technologies of product configuration management system. It contains the construction of customer order collection web site based on ASP, the showing of 3D shapes on web pages based on JT2Go and parametric design. On the basis of analyzing the product configuration management theories and combining VB 6.0 with Access, it develops the product configuration management system based on the customer requirement. At the same time, the customer's requirement and the product information store in the database and they can instruct production process. |
