As one of the five natural disasters in the coal accidents, the roof accidents have an important effect on the safe production of the coal mining. How to avoid the happen of the roof accidents,especially the accidents happened on the coal face, is placed an important theme in the technology management and the safe management in the production of coal mine.The theme aimed to develop the system of the roof management, which is according to the underground pressure theory. Visual C++ is taken as the development platform. The data base of SQL Server is taken to store the data and adopt the MATLAB to analyze and deal with the data stored in the data base, The system can confirm the motion parameters of the overlying strata in the coal face and rational support resistance, and judge the key stratum, which take a reference for roof management and the selection of support types. Analyzing and tiding up the data by Observing the Mineral Pressure, Statistic maximum, minimum, average, median, the highest frequency and so on. Drawing the curve diagram and the histogram that the change happened the setting load, Working Resistance of Support, convergence between roof and floor when the working face advance. Drawing the scatter diagram according the observed data, and choice the right math model to make regressive analysis to obtain the mathematical relationship of the variables(the relation between the setting force and the weighed average resistance in the cycle time .the relation between the convergence roof– floor and the descending amount of piston. the relation between the Working Resistance of Support and the convergence roof– floor ).According to the relations of the various variables, direct the production. Analyzing the working condition of the support, and access whether it is normal. Realizing the real time monitoring of the computers which collect data, which can offer the leader the suggestions.This system choices scientific methods with computer development tool, and gets ridfromthe disturbance of man-made factors, which makes the roof management scientific and information. Turn the system into the 20202 Fully Mechanized Coal Face of YuShuWan, which can confirm the motion parameters of the overlying strata in the coal face and rational support resistance successfully, and this system can output the data of the pressure observed in diagram or statistical table, at the same time it does regressive analysis to various variables, and build models. The practice shows that the system plays a guidance and decision-making role to the roof management. It has indicated that this system is highly accurate, which has high scientific value and possess a highly popular value.
