Collection And Transportation Systems And Optimization Of Food Waste In Chengdu

With the accelerated urbanization process and people's living standards, the amount of food waste increases quickly. Because the food waste is lack of effective management, the "swill pig" and "swill oil" continue into the market, which will threat to people's health seriously. The traditional researches on food waste remain at the end of the treatment and source control, but the study of collection and transportation of food waste is little. Therefore, the collection and transportation of food waste in China still stay at the low level, and the "run, drop, drip, drain" phenomenon is very common during the transportation, which brings a serious threat to the outlooks of city.In this thesis, at the base of a large number of references about food waste, the produced amount and composition of food waste in Chengdu, the road traffic conditions and other regional planning situation were analyzed. The model of food waste collection is established, and is applied on the food waste collection process in Chengdu. At last, the critical distance of the vessel for mobile and fixed collection container is obtained.Meantime, using the operations research in linear programming theory and transportation model, the transport parameters of food waste disposal system in Chengdu are set up, which is based on the existing solid waste during transport parameters of the standard and experience of using the analogy of other cities. Then the transportation model of transport capacity and transport routes of transit stations and treating field is established. At last, the model is solved using vogel approximation method and EXCEL software. The results show that Cuqiao transit station in Wuhou district has two transfer routes to transfer food waste, and the other transit stations are nearby transportation.The paper, for the food waste collection and transportation system, provide a strong theoretical basis for Chengdu. The research methods of the food waste collection and transportation have a high reference value in Chengdu, and is also valuable for other cities.
