The rotary flying shears is flying shear that is widely used,It's structure is simple and it can be used easily. In generally, it is installed in continuous mill rolling operating line or the cross shearing unit. It also can be used transverse shear rolled piece that is moving and mainly to used cut steel head and tail. Differential speed flying shear is developed on the basis of the same speed rotary flying shear, the essential difference between the two flying shear is that the radius of gyration of the up roller blade is larger than the lower roller blade roller. Domestic still lacking in depth understanding about the fundamental research of differential speed flying shear at present, most study on the differential speed flying shear established on the theoretical basis of the parallel shear, its design mechanism are still not deep. Therefore, giving more in-depth and systematic research on the differential speed flying shear will help companies master its key technologies, and improving the core competitiveness of the market.This subject comes from actual research projects called"Study on Basic Theory and Parameter Optimization Design of Differential Speed Rotary Flying Shear"that was signed by a company and Chongqing University, the main work was as follows:The work characteristics of differential speed flying shear are summarized, making parametric motion simulation for differential speed flying shear, Meanwhile, making software about flying shear knife touch. The change curve of the side gap and knife overlapping in the shear process of differential speed flying shear and the same speed flying shear was studied. It was analyzed that energy parameters based on the experimental and finite element method, selecting the appropriate shear fracture criterion, obtaining the threshold by high-temperature tensile test, simulating the shear process of flying shear under the finite element software. The factors and changes of the energy parameters such as the shear stress, shear work, lateral thrust and shear moment were researched. Compare the differences that the cut quality and energy parameters among parallel shear, the same speed flying shear and differential speed flying shear. Speed drop of the differential speed flying shear and motor power were calculated, last making the relevant software.Through the above analysis, it can be a better understanding of differential speed flying shear characteristics, and provide a good theoretical reference to the design of the differential speed flying shear.
