Mold industry occupies an important place in the national economy. The level of the mold manufacturing techniques has become a significant symbol of national manufacturing. Along with the increasing of plastics species and the improvement of the function, plastics are already instrument, correspondence, injection molding is used widely used in the agriculture, packing, transportation, light industry m ore products with complex shape method of designing injection and more end home extensively appliances because it etc. Plastic can mould precise size m once. However the molding mainly depends on experience traditional to test and adjust molding. It leads to not only a great waste of manpower and material, but also a delay of development cycle. So it is important to research on applying computer auxiliary technology to improve design quality and efficiency in injection mould design and manufactory.This paper assays the state of development of the industry of the present mould and development tendency objectively, and points out that to apply computer auxiliary technology (CAx) in injection mould trading will be an most effectual tactic of developing of plastic productions, mold designing and machining little and little. This paper analyzes the applications of the CAE in injection mold, and the important impact in optimizing design of plastic productions, design of injection mold, and the injecting technical parameters. The biggest advantage is that it shortens the period of production development and cuts down the production costs. At the same time, this paper canvasses the CAE software-moldflow and its application in engineering. In order to apply the Moldflow, this paper enlarges the plastic materials database and establishes a local plastic materials database which lay a foundation of setting our own domestic one.For the mould plastics CAE analysis, this paper carries ondivision and modification of the net of the computer' s fore_ element CAD model. The processes of the filling, flowing of the plastic melt and the cooling of the mould and so on are the more important process in the plastic injection. In the process of the plastic injecting various kinds of craft parameters, such as pressure, temperature, time, etc... are several important factors of the quality level of influencing the plastic products. This paper has imitated this process with software moldflow of CAE. Setting from the result of imitating, the craft parameters are revised and optimized to moulding plastics, more rational craft parameters are drew from it. Setting from imitating the analysis result, the author designs the injection mould of the computer' s fore-element, introduces the process of the opening of the mould, and imitates it. At the same time, This paper carries out graphic program for NC manufacture of the fix element of the mould.Because the CAD nodels which is used by this paper is complicated, it is created on the environment of the common CAD software, and then the models are translated to the CAE software by the interface and analyzed on the environment of CAE. This paper regards swapper of the data as the interface to realize the communication among different CAD and CAE software and the aggregation of the CAD/CAE/CAM.
