With the rapidly development of modern machinery manufacturing industries in higher speed, higher precision and higher flexibility, the position of the machine tools in the modern machinery manufacturing industries is become more and more important. In recent years, the NC machine tools of China's enterprises increased year after year, In particular, more and more large-scale high-performance NC machine tool users of all ages. As the structure of large equipment, large tonnage, manufacturing, high cost, it is necessary to pre-calculation, simulation, so that the characteristics of the machine tool designers have a thorough understanding, so that the whole design better.This paper studies the TK6916 large CNC Boring and Milling Machine,and using the finite element analysis software ANSYS as a tool to analyze. The main works are as follow:1. Finite element method described the basic ideas and principles, outlines the development of finite element method and application process, and finally summed up the static analysis and modal analysis of the basic theory.2. The bed of the NC boring and milling machine tool have been built through 3 dimension software named SolidWorks, and meshed in ANSYS. Identify the weakest links in bed through researching the three extreme positions respectively of the slide in the overall structure of bed deformation and vibration modes.3. Simulate actual working conditions, Analysis of spindle box and the natural frequency of the static stiffness and strength when the boring bar is 200mm, 600mm, 1000mm, ram is 400mm, 800mm case.4. Analysis the impact of cutting force on the column while in milling, boring, drilling three cases, Define the more dangerous processing environment of the column, as a basis for post-optimization.5. Using the powerful computing of the finite element method, analysis the machine on static shows the stress and displacement fields visually; listing of the machine 1 to 6 order of natural frequencies and mode shapes by modal analysis.
