As important machine tools in modern mechanical processing,large CNC boring and milling machine is suitable for machining parts of large weight and complex shape, which can meet a variety of processing needs in a clamping, improving the machining efficiency and the benefit of the enterprise production. As the world’s largest producer and consumer of machine tools, whose structure design in our country is still given priority to experience design and analogy method, which causes the structure size’s surplus、overmuch mass and the imperfection of the performance. Taking TK6913large CNC boring and milling machine as the research object, this article uses simulation research and experimental modal to study the structure performance of boring and milling machine, then uses the optimization analysis based on sensitivity analysis to minimize the machine’s weight on the premise of guaranteeing the structure stiffness and casting conditions. This thesis does the several main study, including:1.Using software SolidWorks for3d modeling of TK6913, this thesis simplified the small structure, imported it into ANSYS, after pretreatment, resulted finite element model of the machine.2. The boring and milling machine’s simulation analysis was made on the most dangerous working conditions, in which there ware static analysis and modal analysis respectively. Applying the working load and boundary conditions in static analysis to get the stress and strain of the whole machine, which verified the excess of structure size; In modal analysis, by mode matching for the main components of machine, validated the rationality of the structure design of various parts, at the same time, got the modal results of the whole machine by analysis. Through the static analysis and modal analysis, obtained modal parameters, at the same time, fond that there was a lightweight design space when the structure size was relatively surplus.3. As the key components of boring and milling machine, column had been carried on the experimental modal analysis.Firstly this thesis introduced the theoretical basis、experimental scheme and measurement process steps, obtaining the modal results of column by computing, together with the method of curve fitting to verify the credibility of the modal experiment results, and compared with the results of simulation analysis for mutual authentication, which provided a theoretical basis for the analysis of lightweight.4. The lightweight design of the boring and milling machine reduced the mass of structure for cost savings on the premise of guaranteeing stiffness. The model of machine tool was established using SolidWorks, and analyzed adopting the sensitivity analysis of the mass to the stiffness for every dimension in ANSYS. Then in ANSYS the lightweight design of the structure treated the sensitive dimensions as parameters, the mass as the goal, and the stiffniess and casting conditions as the constraint conditions. Design results showed that sensitivity analysis is very effective for structure lightweight design. At the same time each order natural frequency had been effectively improved^the minimum distance of each order modal became larger and dynamic performance was improved.
