Mine gas accidents is repeated in China, which is a serious threat to coal mine production safety and sustainable development, therefore, gas extraction reasonablely and efficiently is very important to high-gas coal mine. According to the characteristics of large mining height,high output,and the large amount of coal gas emission in 40104 working face, studied gas comprehensive prevention technology to fully mechanized coal caving face in Dafo temple mine.According to coal gas'storage and face profile of Dafo temple mine in Binchang mining area, analyzed the gas sources and its percentage composition of the face. Found that gas emission source mainly comes from dropping coal gas emission, coal wall gas emission and mine goaf gas emission. Through the forecast to gas emission of the working face, comes out that the total gas emission is 88.78m3/min when the face up to capacity. Combined with the characteristics of the fully mechanized coal caving face, adopted a comprehensive gas control method. The method mainly includes upper corner tube drainage,face pre-pumping and draining while mining,postharvest relief gas drainage,high gas roadway drainage etc., studied its gas delivery process and gas drainage boreholes'construction. Analyzed the effect of upper corner tube drainage,face pre-pumping and draining while mining,postharvest relief gas drainage,high gas roadway drainage of Dafo temple mine in in Binchang mining area.Through analysis of field data, got that face drainage rate was 73.2%,the volume of mine gas drainage is 84.59m3/min,mine gas drainage rate was 54.4%, increased nearly 10% from the original basis. Reached a better control effect, ensured the safe and efficient stoping of the face, Achieved good economic and social benefits.
