Functional textiles is the new green concept in recent years, not only conform to the present society fashionable tide but also promote environmental development, and it has very wide development space. This nano-anti-bacteria fiber is blended nano-anti-bacteria particles in polyester resin composites and obtained by melt-spinning. Antibacterial particles in yarn are so well distributed that the yarn can be produced good antibacterial and good resistance to wash. For the further development of new yarn, this paper analyzes yarn properties, fabric knitting, finishing technology and performance so as to provide the basis for future product development.This paper firstly use four yarn(14.8tex nano-anti-bacterial polyester yarn,29.5tex conventional polyester yarn,14.7tex nano-anti-bacterial polyester/cotton yarn,14.7tex nano-anti-bacterial polyester/Modal yarn) as raw materials, testing the yarn properties, then knit into plain and interlock knitted fabrics, and then scouring, dyeing for preparing the following testing.In order to understand the differences of polyester knitted fabrics performance between nano-anti-bacteria fiber and ordinary fiber, we produce the knitted fabrics at the same process respectively. Through the testing results, we know that both the coefficient of friction, drape coefficient, and color fastness are similar, that means both are neat, soft and good aesthetic feeling. The performance of the nano-anti-bacteria polyester knitted fabric is superior to the conventional polyester fabric such as in the moisture permeability and wrinkle resistance, that explain it is more comfortable, but the nano-anti-bacteria polyester knitted fabric is poor at the anti-fuzzing and pilling. To improve the anti-fuzzing and pilling properties of nano-anti-bacteria polyester knitted fabric, an organic silicon anti-fuzzing and pilling finishing agent is selected to treat the nano-anti-bacteria interlock knitted fabric. According to the single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment, we get the following optimal parameters:the temperature is 40℃, the dosage of finishing agent o.w.f is 4% and the time of the treatment is 20min. It will improve the anti-fuzzing and pilling as well as the softness of the fabric with optimum technical parameters treatment.The nano-anti-bacterial polyester fiber was blended with cotton fiber or Modal fiber and then knitted into fabric, which can be used to develop both antibacterial and comfortable high-grade knitting clothing. Through testing the nano-anti-bacteria polyester/cotton fabric and the nano-anti-bacteria polyester/modal fabric to evaluate their performance:the latter is superior to the former in anti-fuzzing and pilling, softness, surface friction properties, drapability and the moisture permeability, so the latter is more suitable to develop summer clothing or close-fitting underwear.We cooperatated with the Shanghai Threegun Group to design and develop four nano-anti-bacterial knitted underwear fabrics such as the nano-anti-bacterial polyester/cotton color horizontal stripe knitted fabric, the nano-anti-bacterial polyester/cotton drop needle interlock fabric, the nano-anti-bacterial polyester/cotton and Spandex plain knit fabric and the nano-anti-bacterial polyester/Modal interlock fabric respectively. Then measured the fabric properties, and develop the nano-anti-bacterial series knitting underwear such as man's underwear, woman's primer shirt, interlock pants and so on. All the nano-anti-bacterial polyester fabrics, the nano-anti-bacterial polyester/cotton fabrics and the nano-anti-bacteria polyester/Modal fabric were sent to the special organization for antimicrobial functional test, the testing results showed that all of them have good antibacterial properties and wash fastness.
