Design And Analysis Of PDP Screen Printing Equipment

In the PDP production processes, the transparent electrode, auxiliary electrode and address electrode is manufactured by screen printing. Development of PDP manufacturing equipment with independent intellectual property rights is imperative. In this paper, the screen printer is designed and constructed, the structure of platform alignment system, Stencil lifting system, Squeegee moving system and feeding system have made a detail design, and other sub-systems are introduced. The key techniques of screen printer also are analyzed. Use the knowledge of Materials Mechanics, derive the formula of equivalent elastic modulus, and then calculate the force of the screen use the formula. Analyze and discuss the formation mechanism of screen adhesion force. A variable screen distance structure is designed to solve adhesion problem and make sure the smooth of screen printing. Also the analysis of the position error cause by the deformation of the mesh screen is made, and other factors caused the error were introduced.
