Wetland, called kidney of the earth, is one of the most important ecosystems on Earth. With the increasing awareness of wetland resources, the protection and reasonable used on wetland are paid more and more attention. In addition, planning Wetland Park and mixing ecological restoration, ecological protection and the use of resources of the wetland effectively based on the protection of wetland resources are widely supported by people.This paper focuses on the protection of wetland resources and Wetland Park planning. First, the concept, classification, characteristics and functions on Wetland Park are analysed from a theoretical view. An overview of wetland resources protection in China will be introduced. Furthermore, the thesis discusses the significance and the protecting strategies or measures about Chinese wetland resources protection. Secondly, the paper build up a SWOT model based on the analysis of Pinyin Rose Lake wetland in Jinan City, which is analysis model from enterprise management will be applied in the research on the developing trend of the wetland. The internal factors and external environment of the wetland will be studied by SWOT model to research several conclusions. Based on the action plan, it develops a list of the related items about the wetland park planning to support the planning on Wetland Park. In the end, the rules, theories and details on the planning of Wetland Park will be concluded.The thesis focuses on the study on the protection on wetland resources and Wetland Park conservation rules and methods for developing a system of wetland resources conservation and Wetland Park planning. The methods of solving the problem on sustainable development of Wetland Park are proposed. Finally, it can provide useful information and conclusions for the future studies through the analysis and research of this thesis.
