With the attention of green, ecological and environmental protection products, the researches of vegetable dyes are more and more. But the researches are still small of the function of vegetable plant and its application of textiles. This thesis mainly develops an antibacterial and pigment compound, and with this the fabric can get natural antibacterial and colour performances.The main contents of this paper are:(1) The appropriate textile antimicrobial test standard was selected and improved with actual situations. (2) The antibacterial activities of the fabrics treated with KI-CT,YW-CT,JS-CT and WG-CT were tested, and the material which has good antibacterial property has been selected.(3) Using the optimizing plant as antibacterial agent, adding extra plant pigment material, and then an antibacterial pigment compound was developed. The factors affecting the antibacterial and dyeing performances of the compound were discussed. The washing and ecological performances were also tested and evaluated.The main results show that:(1) A quantitative evaluation has finally been chosen as experimental evaluation standard, and three parts have been improved:increasing bacterium fluid soak, ensuring the effective bacteria growth, and selecting the most suitable incubation time of the bacteria.(2) WG-CT has the most significant antibacterial effect in the four plants. Based on this, the antibacterial activity of the antibacterial pigment compound is good. Through the experiments, the results show that:WG-CT plays a leading role in the antibacterial property of the compound.With the growth of time, the inhibition rates of Staphylococcus aureus changes little, but for Escherichia coli the inhibition rate increases highly. With the growth of temperature, the inhibition rates of Escherichia coli has an upward trend, and for Staphylococcus aureus, When the temperatures are below 70℃, the inhibition rates increase with the rise of temperature, but when the temperatures are more than 70℃, the inhibition rates level off.Dyeing temperature on the antibacterial properties of the fabrics is greater than the time. There is a certain correlation between the inhibition rate and the dye uptake. Dyeing temperature on the dye uptake of the fabrics is also greater than the time.(5)The washing performance for Staphylococcus aureus of the fabric dyed with the compound is superior to Escherichia coli. The fabric can still obtain excellent antibacterial property against Staphylococcus aureus after washing 20 times.(6)The test result shows that:the fabric treated with the compound can satisfy the National standard GB/T 18885-2009 "Technical specifications of ecological textiles" non-direct contact with the skin. A kind of natural anti-bacterial wool fabric has been successfully developed.In short, the wool fabric treated with the antibacterial pigment compound on the basis of WG-CT and KF-CT can not only get antibacterial performance, but also obtain natural colors. The antibacterial pigment compound has good development prospects.
