Automobile scale is a kind of huge weighing instrument widely used in petroleum industry, chemical industry, coal industry, metallurgical industry, etc. Normal automobile scale with scale monitor is managed by mankind. The disadvantage of the normal automobile is that more hands needed, lower efficiency, more mistakes, lower extent of autoimmunization.Firstly this paper analysis the actuality and the problem exist in the system of weighting system in Mei Steel Company. Combine with practical situation of material transmission, this paper design a overall scheme of rebuild vehicle weighting system. Combiner with the technology of video monitor, network control, voice dialogue, this paper rebuild the local work to automatic information collection, operator monitor the work procedure in far away distance.Secondly, this paper analyzes the component and principle of RFID system, especially of the UHF long range RFID system which is used in the long-distance vehicle weighting system. Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a booming new technology of automatic identification, which has good characteristic, such as long work range and strong anti-interference etc. compared with other automatic identification technology. The realization of the long-distance vehicle weighting system of vehicle identification and information collecting based on RFID.Combine with the controlling and operating of the local device, this paper analysis the design of the hardware of the system. This paper divide the system hardware into 6 parts: weighting control module, network control module, video and voice module, information showing module, vehicle position detection module, and RFID system and analysis the realization of each module and compound control in detail. The system realized the automation of information collection and the automation of data transmission.Finally, the well designed software consists of two applied programs of operating control system and supervising and communication system, the former is mainly in charge of the testing and identifying of the vehicles, the collecting and storing of information. While as the defending process of the base station operation control, the latter has the main function of starting and monitoring the condition of operation system and restarting it and sending wrong information record to backstage data centre when discovering something wrong with the operation system. Object-oriented is adopted in the designing of this system. The layering and modularization in the designing make it easy to expand the function of the software in this system.The Optimization of long-distance vehicle weighting system has been used in Mei Steel Company, the system has realize the purpose of long-distance operation and monitor. This paper has the value of some references in every vocation not only theory support but in also real project.
