Hot sawing machine is an important and auxiliary equipment in hot rolling mill, the design of hot sawing machine will affect directly steel products quality. Main equipments had already reached an international advanced level after Heavy Section Mill Plant of Anshan Iron and Steel Company was reformed, we must make improvements for the hot sawing machine in order to match with these advanced equipments and improve the quality of the products. The most important parts are saw blade and the coveying mechanism in hot sawing machine with four-bar linkage mechanism, these two parts are the most complicated, use too most frequent, cut to saw quality of the steel influence even most heavy. So, there have very important meanings to research of saw blade and the coveying mechanism for the hot sawing machine.At first, this subject adopts the method that the theoretical research combines with productive experiment, studies the actual method that reducing the thickness of saw blade to apply production, then it finds that thin saw blade applying production have superiority in many aspects and produce actual meanings. Secondly, it develops the computational and analytic program of the sawing power for rail steel and channel steel with Visual, Basic language, it will offer correctly reference for us when we choose power of saw blade motor. At last, in order to prove the dependability of the intensity on the theory after the thickness of the saw blade is reduced, at the same time in order to offer basis on which people dispel misgivings, it uses ANSYS software to carry on finite element analysis for the saw blades before and after reducing the thickness of the saw blades; in order to find out the law of stress distribution in the saw blades, it uses MATLAB software to carry on polynomial regression of the von Mises stress along the radial direction of circular saw blades, then it gets the different stress curves after regression. It is a exploratory research in this aspect because the research that saw blade is thinned is relatively little.
