With the improvement of urban intelligence,tens of thousands of cities are paying attention to the search of Intelligent Water Meter.However,a lot of problems should be solved to build the water meter system.For examples:The city's water meter placed into the damp environment,wireless radio frequency transmission and anti-Interference make it difficult to read the water meter.The use and distribution of water meters are uneven.For the edge of the city where the cellular network can't cover all the area.We need more Relay Equipment and Network Base Stations to cover the area of the communication;Calibration mechanism is required for the readings identified on the water meter acquisition terminal and we need to establish network management system to maintain Intelligent Water Meter equipment.In order to solve the Water Meter problem this paper based on three layer of models(Perception layer,Network layer and Application layer)puts forward an intelligent water management system with ability of reading water meter.In the part of the perception layer.We need to control the led and open the camera to recognize the figure from the water meter under the dark surroundings.In the part of network layer,LoRa(Long Range)technology,as a kind of Low Power Wide Area Network compared to other traditional wireless communication technology owing to the properties of its low power consumption,long distance and anti-interference make it more suitable to solve the difficulties which are obvious obstacles of internet communications.Then consider the system should have the ability to access a public network,we finally choose“LoRa + GPRS " as a communication method in Network layer.In the part of application layer,it is necessary to develop a website suitable for the water department,equipment administrator and normal user's requirements.In this paper,the intelligent water system is proposed.We regard automatic meter reading technology and data mining technology as the main research field.Now,the prototype system of Intelligent Water System has been completed,which is mainly composed of three parts:fore-end data collector system,background management system and mathematical statistical analysis.And the three parts of the prototype system committed to realize the three layer model of the Internet of things.The paper has two main innovations as follows:(1)We put forward private communication protocol design applied to water business,which is based on business requirements of Intelligent water management.(2)The paper put forward Assistant Decision-Making System that serves the system administrator and make statistical analysis based on sample data which is in the application management syatem.From the result of the system's test.The intelligent water system based on LoRa technique have these functions as follows:(1)The front-end intelligent meter acquisition device can upload data from different water meters.(2)The collection system completes the heartbeat test.(3)The data can be successfully written to the background server.(4)The background management system with "Struts+ Spring+ Hibernate" these background techniques can distinguish the user's permission.The device administrator can monitor the device status to perform the equipment repair's function.(5)The data analysis module provides guidance for management decision,to correct meter data and provide references for the equipment manager repairing the intelligent equipment.Because the current data analysis in this meter reading research focus on intelligent electric meter,this paper is devoted to give a new design scheme to this water meter research that combines intelligent meter reading,background management system and data analysis.
