Layout And Planning Study On Traffic Survey Observation Station Of Freeway In Hunan

Freeway Traffic survey is an important basic work of freeway construction and management, the survey statistics provide the basis for the road project planning, decision-making, construction and maintenance. Traffic observation stations are the primary and direct source for freeway traffic statistics and analysis, the quality of datas is very important which will affect the accuracy and reliability of the regional freeway network construction and maintenance directly.This paper has summarized the history of development of road traffic survey and research status, then analyzed layout of the existing traffic observation stations in Hunan Province and summarized the problems,used "National freeway Traffic Observatory layout planning" as methodological guidance, combined with Hunan Province Freeway Network Planning, this paper has put forword the ideas ofthe Traffic observation stations for Hunan Freeway NetworkIn the research process we can not get the completed traffic datas, reference the cumulative importance of sections and the total control method of road network planning, we introduce the concept of importance to the traffic observation stations layout, and then use a "two-stage layout method", according to the cumulative importance of basic road,we can conducte specific observation stations layout, evaluate programs and select survey equipment.Combining with Hunan Expressway and social and economic realities, and according to the selective layout method of observation stations, the combination of quantitative and qualitative manner, based on a specific building, for a class of Highway Traffic Observatory site layout plan Basic macroeconomic data to meet the needs of Freeway. Degree angle from the balanced layout of the results of the evaluation of road traffic observation station station rate is 100%, station distribution is reasonable. At last according to the characteristics of different types of observation equipment to choose for the actual investigation and detection equipment in Hunan.
