Pile-driving machinery is an individuation product, which has to be designed according to the applications and the operating requirements. Slewing bearing is one of the important components of the pile-driving machinery. The designed intensity and dynamics of the slewing bearing is directly related to the working property and the safety of the machine. Researches show that, the percentage of Slewing ring fail in early stage which was resulted from gear teeth broken is up to 90%. The main reason is that the designing and lectotype of the slewing bearing can't meet the operating condition. So the relevant research of design and lectotype for slewing bearing is necessary. Thus, the dynamics research on the slewing bearing's gear is based on the method of virtual prototype analysis, which will investigates a method of the optimal design for the slewing bearing. The research will be carried out by the followings:(1) The dynamic method of the slewing bearing is founded by the torsional vibration model of gear pairs. The former design of slewing bearing can be judged by the dynamic analysis results which include kinematics and dynamic characteristics of the gear.(2) Based on the influence of the structure parameters such as the number of teeth and module of gear on the dynamics characteristics through the method of virtual prototype analysis, a method of optimal design for the slewing bearing is proposed which is to improve the dynamics characteristics of the slewing bearing through changing the number of teeth and the module of gear.(3) The influence of the driving speed, backlash gear and stiffness coefficient on the dynamics characteristics of the slewing bearing is studied by the method of virtual dynamic analysis. In this way, the dynamical loads of gear can be obtained to guide the design, manufacturing and installation.(4) Finally, based on the finite element analysis technology, the case of the static state of the gear in load is studied to check whether the optimal designing is desirable.The factors which influence the dynamics characteristics are studied through the dynamic analysis for the slewing bearing gear. At last, the method of the optimal designing about the slewing bearing is proposed which can meets the requirement of the individualized design.
