Study On Block Renovation Of Handan Based On Theory Of Urban Morphology

This paper takes the renewal of urban blocks in Handan as the research object, analyze the theory of urban morphology, and sum up experience combined with the practice, take in-depth research of the renewal of urban blocks in Handan.The study method of this paper is the combination of basic theoretical research and typical case study, analyze the renewal of urban blocks problems from the basis of urban morphology theory. This paper has five chapters: Chapter I, introduction, describe the background, purpose, meaning, methods and frameworks of the study. Chapter II, sum up the theory of urban morphology and urban renewal, and the intrinsic relationship between these two points, .educe the basic principles of urban morphology to instruct the urban block renewal. Chapter III, analysis systematically of urban block renewal in China, sum up the experience, educe the rules and principles, and instruct this case study. Chapter IV, analysis the status quo of Handan, take the study of local history and yearbook as the basis, describing the evolution process of urban form in Handan, and then give deeply research to each factors which constitute urban form evolution and urban block renewal, provide power basis to later blocks renewal construction. Chapter V, investigate the status quo of several blocks, and analysis using the theory of urban morphology, explore suitable strategy of urban block renewal in Handan, and hoping to give guidance to future research and application.The results and conclusions of this paper: Through the investigation of urban blocks in Handan, educe that the renewal of urban blocks in Handan should have these following guidelines: analyze the basic structure of urban form, and also the evolution and development agent. In connection with the problems of urban blocks in Handan, such as land features, architecture, public space, landscape, infrastructure and public life satisfaction, put forward suitable ways of urban blocks renewal from following points: the grasp of the whole shape blocks, orderly neighborhoods functional remodeling, architecture design from large to small, landscape design of dynamic heritage culture, design of organic block scale and space content, public participation and so on.
