The Features And Inspiration Of Exterior Space Pattern In Typical Huizhou Traditional Villages And Towns Around The Valley Of Raohe River

Industrialization, marketization, urbanization, informatization and globalization is the major context in terms of social development, moreover, Development of urbanization is the key and core issue of economic development for the time being. Many chinese traditional towns and villages face massive reconstruction and are destoried in the Circumstance of Rapid Development of Urbanization. Existing planning and design method picks up the speed of the change.The article reviews several analytic methods of exterior spatial pattern of traditional village and small towns briefly. While analyzing exterior space of traditoinal sociality, exterior spaces not only have a physical characteristic of vision in terms of shape, size, height, scale, color and texture,but also have a mental implication concerning order,power and symbolic meaning. All of these are the social basis of understanding spatial patterns and frameworks of traditional villages and towns.According to analysis of territorial environment,economical factors,social and cultural environment of YouShan which is a typical HuiZhou village and influences the reaches of Raohe River.The article sums up the exterior spatial features of traditional villages and small towns and analyzes the mechanism of the forming of these features.The article finally advances that the change of human needs is the major factor of the change about space contructing during the development of urbanization. and it is also the rootstone of the crisis that makes exterior sapces renewed in traditional villages and towns.we are in the middle of the past and the future.Massive contruction has a huge influence to the future.The "road" of new urbanization is not only a serious challenge but also a chance of a lifetime for town planning and constructing. In the stage of town planning, we should incorporate the mental implication of traditional exterior space, achieve the harmony of dwelling environment which make residents feel "young, happy and comfortalbe".
