| In recent years, with the increasingly technical maturity of the intellectual switches, electro-optical type mutual inductors, the online status inspection of primary device, together with the development and application of the high-speed data network in real-time system of computer, the realization of the digitalization of control,measurement, signal, protection and metrology etc. has firm theoretical and materialistic foundation.Meanwhile, the promulgation of the IEC61850 standard and the promotion of the standardized equipments provide the practiced regulations and materialistic guarantee. In substations, the digitalization of the collection, transmission and processing of all the information will become an inevitable trend for the construction of all the substations. Digital substations have become the trend for the automation of substations.Up to now, a batch of substations have been put into operation successively in China including Zhejiang province, the voltage of which ranges from 110KV to 500KV. The design and operation of these digital substations provided valuable experience to the equipments of the substations which are marching towards digital era.This paper introduces the basic concept of digital substation technology, the main characteristics and the relative technological development status, also the paper takes the design of the first digital substation, i. e. Yunlin substation in Ningbo as an example and introduces the designing ideas, technological structure and technological principles of the Yunlin substation, etc. By the way of selecting the primary equipment, the secondary equipment and the communication network, the final program which could be realized and the relatively creative technology of the substation are determined.The beneficial attempt of the Yunlin digital substation makes us understand more deeply about the engineering practice of the digital substations. Therefore it provides rich technological experience for the promotion and application of the construction of the digital substations together with the enhancement of the comprehensively automatic level of substations. |
