The Research On The Most Valuable Landscape In Cities

Focusing on pressing problems and development trends of urban landscape design from the perspective of urbanization horizon, on the basis of vast summarizing and analyzing of domestic and abroad documents, index system of comprehensive evaluation on urban landscape value was studied and discussed in this project. The paper aims to perfect the index system of comprehensive evaluation on urban landscape value by systematic summary and construction of evaluation theory. The value of"discovery"and"review"of the field can be accessible via the study of Pre-design evaluation system and Post-design evaluation system and thus realize the optimization of the value of design of urban landscape site.The article is divided into three parts: Basic theoretical research , the construction of evaluation system and the summarizes of comprehensive evaluation. The first part proposes the aim of evaluation that is the construction of high quality of urban space with distinctive features of the city and meeting the demands of users. The value of landscape is divided into value index of intensionality that aims for the needs of users as dominant factor: function value, aesthetic value, cultural value, and value index of extensionality that takes the development of city as orientation: the ecological value, the economic value and social value. The second part is the keystone of the thesis. On the basis of theory construction, the essay uses fieldwork as supplementary way of research. The evaluation system consists of Pre-design evaluation and Post-design evaluation in relation to different goals.Pre-design evaluation aims at the stage of"propounding questions"and"analyzing problems", through "discovery" and judgment the designing value of the site, thereby better respect "natural and culture". Post-design Evaluation is based on the design process of "problem solving" stage, its value lies in "review", by the Post-design Evaluation and analysis on design plot, thus "correction the program, process and methods of design ". Pre-design evaluation method is mainly for the experts'method, using form aesthetics mode and AHP combined. Post-design evaluation is primarily based on concepts behind POE. The third part of the main essay focus on the differences and relationship between Pre-design evaluation and Post-design evaluation. This paper has selected three representative landscape zones from west of river Bund district of Shanghai, to the landscape zone of Lihu lake of Wuxi , Pingjiang Historical District in Suzhou as typical cases, therefore makes the evaluation research more practical.
