ABSTRACT:As the chief solution to the urban transportation problem, the rail transportation received more and more city's attention. The appearance of rail transit hub based on vast constructions of urban rail transit. They are not only increasing the efficiency and comfort level of public transit, but also accelerating the development and construction of surrounding areas, which are important to urban spacial structure and function layout. But in the internal space of transit hub, there are still a lot problems, such as people crowded and traffic streamline chaos, which should be solved by reasonable space division and scientific traffic streamline design. Basing on analysis of present research at home and abroad, this thesis views rail transit hub and internal space streamline as research core and object. By analysing and studying the relationship between transfer organization, inscape and streamline of internal space, direct optimal design of internal space streamline in Xizhimen traffic hub. The research, which is the benefit to guide the rail traffic construction of cities, to divide spaces reasonably as wall as to improve service level, intends to realize the sustainable development of urban public transportation and help to set up good image of the city.Firstly, by analysing spaces and streamlines, this thesis discusses the classification of them as wall as the description method of streamline. Then basing on the research of transfer organization, by studying present researches at home and abroad, conclude the influence of streamline organization caused by different transfer way. Secondly, by classifying the internal space of rail transit hub from micro level, this thesis analyses the elements of internal space and describes the characteristics of different elements as well as the influences to streamline organization. Then conclude the composite design and optimal design of different elements. Thirdly, viewing Xizhimen transit hub as research object, by studying general situation and function division of transit hub, this thesis analyses the transfer space and streamline organization. In order to solve the problem of streamline organization, the thesis concludes the optimization principle and method, which guides to form the optimal design.
