As the development of the landscape and the rising requirement of environment quality, more investment has been put into the urban landscape construction in order to improve urban taste and environment. Residential landscape, improving with urban green construction and environment protection, has caused more and more attention. Meanwhile, the competition among the residential landscape projects becomes serious day by day.At current situation, in order to save the cost, the phenomenon of winning the bidding at low price has become more and more. How to control project costs, how to ensure the quality and security of the residential landscape and how to make profit has become key to success. Under the serious marketing competition situation, only to strengthen the construction management of the residential landscape projects can raise the cost control ability. Constructing high quality residential areas at the sustainable development aspect with low cost can provide more development in winning market and improving enterprise development.From the aspect of the cost control management of the residential landscape, this paper mainly researches the residential community of the Pearl River Delta. The effects of the implementation of cost control has been studied in every stage, including beginning phase, design phase, tender phase, construction phase and acceptance phase. The author aims to implore and summarize the cost control method of the residential landscape construction through practical case research on the residential landscape construction of the Pearl River Delta. Through efficient cost control management, landscape green products which can meet market needs at low cost but high profit can be made out.
