| The lock is ship pass building which overcome the centralized water level difference formed by dam building(or natural) on the river. The lock consists of head bay, trial bay, gates and lock chamber. the lock is set for the safety of the ship, quick and smooth delivery of passenger and cargo passing, so, in order to meet the operational requirements, the lock design should provide guarantee conditions on the lock total layout, scale, coordination between the various parts of the lock, water-carriage system, security lock building, gate, hoist and control system, lock aids.Based on the lock of XiaJiang hydro-junction, in this paper, the lock design and analysis is studied in order to provide some reference for actual lock engineering design. First, This Paper calculates the lock discharge capacity and water consumption, determines the form of water-carriage system, main size and its layout. Then, the basic principles of finite element method is briefly introduced, and the stress of head bay, trial bay and lock chamber of this lock is calculated by using analytical method and finite element method, and the two methods results is compared. Finally, in order to make up for the deficiency of analytical method, the structural vertical stress, down river direction stress, cross river direction stress and the first principal stress, the third principal stress are calculated by using finite element method. The result shows that the finite element method in the lock structure stress analysis has a broad prospect and practical value, and can provide more favorable basis for structure safety. |
