The resistance of sulfate attack on mortar is always the most important research of the mortar structure’s durability study. Recently with development of the west and rise of the middle part in our country, and widely used on thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar, the requirement on sulfate attack of mortar is higher in changeable environment, but until now there is no way can proclaim the destructive mechanism of mortar structure under sulfate attack simply and truly.Recent years, thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar play an important role in develop the green building materials, promote the reformation of walls and develop energy conservation in building. At the same time, as a new kind of building inorganic insulation product, it has a low thermal conductivity, higher fire rating and significant advantages of the construction, so thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar has been widespread used in energy conservation in new buildings and energy transformation in old buildings. So many fields are used, but in abominable environment, especially under the sulfate attack (most of our country is acidity), the research of thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar is so deficiency, therefore it’s very important to have a thorough experiment about thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar under the sulfate attack.This paper introduce the basic performance and general situation about the sulfate attack, the main work are as follows:(1) Introduce the basic performance under the sulfate attack of the thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar.(2) Simulate the experiment of sulfate attack inside, watch and record the surface change of the blocks, the results will consider the relationship between the performance index and the effect factors (time and solution consistence), analyse the resistance rules and durability under the sulfate attack.(3) Depend on experiment research, consider the inside structure and analyse the destructive mechanism of the thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar under sulfate attack.(4) Try to establish the one-dimensional diffusion-reaction equation under the sulfate attack and choose a appropriate finite difference model, the model can get the correct situation of mortar component in some certain boundary and initial conditions, than compare with experiment result, make sure the feasibility of the model.The aim of research is do a big favor to spread the material in changeable and moist conditions, also increase the durability of thermal insulation system and promote the technology on new building and the building existed.
