Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is the redesign of business processes to achieve a dramatic improvement in business performance.The fundamental purpose of BPR is to obtain core competitiveness of enterprises. For port logistics enterprises, the core competitiveness lies in how to shorten the staying time in port.In recent years, drastic changes has taken place in external environment for Jingtang Port, it is imperative to reengineer the enterprise business process in that the management and processes systems, which Jingtang Port has implemented, can not match the requirements of enterprise development any more.This paper is divided into four parts. The introduction describe and analyze the logistics business processes and organizational structures to find out defect in the existing process by means of surveys, interviews and other methods, then re-design it on the basis of process reengineering theory; perfect the organizational structure;and establish process-based organizational structure. The final part proposed the framework of BPR matching Jingtang Port's own characteristics, in the end, is the estimation of process reengineering.The main idea in this paper on the process reengineering is:changing the traditional serial and serial processes and decision-making operating mode, through the application of computer information technology, DDS and other information technology in business process to establish parallel process and decision-making systems, the total staying time of the ship in the port could be reduced significantly, with efficiency service; changing the traditional functions of management, establishing process-based organizational structure and setting up ITT working group.
