Mould is the basic process equipment in industrial production, which is used to form many structural components of industrial products. So, the mould industry plays an extremely important role in the development of a country's economy. Since mould manufacturing belongs to customized and single-piece production mode, the processing technologies of each set of mould are different. This makes the unpredicted factors increasing in process of production. Besides, the effect of uncertainties during the processing of production, such as machine failure or product revised, usually leads to long makespan and delay of delivery and so on. So, how to reduce the impact of uncertainty and to make sure on time delivery becomes one of the key problems in the mould projects.According to the characteristics of mould manufacturing, this paper analyzed the uncertainties during the executing of mould projects, and built up the representing and processing method. Then, By introducing the method of critical chain in the processing of mould project management, it should make the problem of long makespan and delay of due day to be solved. The content of this dissertation as follows:Firstly, the genetic algorithm is used to optimize the mould project scheduling problem with minimum duration and solve resource conflict to scheduling solution for the datum scheme, and find out the critical chain.Secondly, according to the characteristics of the mould project, overall equipment efficiency is used to evaluate the loss of efficiency to analyze uncertain event,which indicates is established relationship with uncertain event,and further critical chain buffer is setted by the root variance method to prevent the uncertainty from interfere.Finally, the prototype of critical chain project management is designed to verify above theory and method.The content of this paper is beneficial to reduce the pacts of uncertainty in mould manufacturing and relieve long makespan and delay of delivery.
