With the enlargement of scale of power grid, the structure is becoming increasingly complex, and the scheduling of all kinds of information has been increasing rapidly, how to dispatch effectively is now a major problem that the dispatch center faces to. Smart grid is the common choice of power industry for the future challenges, and intelligent dispatch is the important method for the security and development smart grid.Decision support system (DSS) increased the warning ability and brought fundamental changes for power system. But the traditional DSS has a series of problems such as under action and so on. To overcome these weaknesses, we must find new decision-making mechanism.Agent technology is applied widely in many fields. Multi-Agent cooperation enhances the ability of multi-Agent system to solve problem and makes the system more flexible. It would be a helpful method to use Agent technology to solve the problems in power dispatch DSS.Firstly, the thesis introduces DSS, multi-Agent and analyses the deficiencies of the traditional DSS. The thesis introduces the traits of Agent technology and analyses the advantages of Agent technology in DSS. Secondly, put forward a model of DSS system based on multi-Agent system. The collaboration strategy and communication behaviors of each Agent in the model have been discussed. Thirdly, the model of DSS system based on multi-Agent system has been applied to the Smart Grid Dispatch System, provided the detailed ways to establish the models of knowledge base and individual Agent. Finally, we described the implementation procedure and the application effect of the smart grid dispatch decision support system based on Multi-Agent.Agent technology is combined with decision support technology, and built a Multi-Agent model, through the cooperation of each Agent, we can carry power system of monitoring and optimized, early warning and dynamic prevention, coordination control in emergence. Then make the dispatch, operation and management of the power system more intelligent.
