With the increaseing of city population and the larging of city size,the size of residential area is growing, the design optimization studies of living residential central heating system have been more and more concerned. residential heating systems including heat source (is usually heat transfer stations), heating network and heat users. Classification by the use of heat users, heat uses is including heating and domestic hot water supplying. The article does not discuss the domestic hot water supplying, and general pre-heating design completed. Therefore, the residential heating system optimization mentioned here is only the designing of the heat transfer stations and secondary network.The main contents of residential heating system design optimization is to determine the number and the size of heat teansfer station,and the rational layout of secondary pipe network. General, the small area heating residential can set up one station or several residential set up a heat transfer station, when the residential heating area is large, how to determine the size and the number of heat transfer station, and the rational layout of secondary pipe network, is the focus of this study. Optimization of the residential heating system design is in the premising of ensuring safe and reliable operation of the heating system, to determine the optimal design program, maka the initial investment and annual running cost minimum.The optimization of residential heating system design is usualling adopt the methods of technical and economic evaluation. Common methods are:the method of program of Comparative, the method of program the mathematical analysis, static mathod, the dynamic method, the cost method, the earning method, the method of macroeconomic analysis, the method of micro-economic analysis, the uncertainty analysis method,the certainty analysis method. The article considers the impact of time value of money, by the method of dynamic to calculate the total cost, assigne the the amount of the initial investment throughout the life to each year, adding the annual consumption throughout the life of, and the minimun of the total cost is the optimal program.The article reference the literature of domestic and forengn, for the domestic common heating method of conmmunity, set up 4 ways of common heating system including the high and low temperature hot water radiant floor heating (the following referred to warm) and the high and low radiator heating, each heating method is equipped with a heat exchanger unit and two pipelines, referred to as the 4 unit 8 pipe of general physical model of central heating system. On this basis, set up the mathematical model of residential total costs of heating system. When the comumunity heating area is constant, the number of heat transfer station and the capacity that is related to the scale,when the heat transfer station is larger, the number of hert transefer is fewer,the initial investment of the transfer station comparatively decreases, but the the secondary net initial investment is relative increase. On the contrary, the initial investment of the heat transfer stations is relatively increased, the initial investment of secondary net is relatively reduced. Therefor there must be exist a best value between above.In this article, by the way of technical and economic evaluation to forage.The optimization of the secondery network, foreign scholars have done a lot of work. Common methods including broken circle method,the Kruskal algorithm and Primf algorithm. The method of layout optimization of secondary network in this article is Prifm algorithm.This article is base on the mathematical model of cost of year of the conmunity heating system,adopt Matlab to find diameter to calculate the cost of year, optimize the various designs of heat transfer station number, location and the secondary network layout, obtaine the general solution design of conmumunity heating system to be applied in practical engineering. Through the engineering example, shows that the above method can be used in engineering practice, to obtain optimal design program.The result of this article shows that conmmunity heating design exists the optimal solution, through a certain method to find the optimal solution, and can guide the practical engineering design.
