The truck-mounted concrete pump is a special vehicle with concrete de-livery pump mounted on special truck chassis for continuous and direct pumping the concrete delivered by concrete mixer truck up to a high-level building in construction site. According to the function of each parts of the overall machine, it mainly includes placing boom, pumping system and special carrier.This paper carried out analysis, research and design of the placing boom on the aspects of overall planning, structure and mechanism and testing veri-fication, combined with the development of XCMG 3-axle 46m concrete pump truck, formed the method of analysis, calculation and optimization on the basis of ANSYS software platform and VB language programming software, pro-vided powerful support for optimized design of series placing boom, improved design efficiency and quality and shortened research and development period. Meanwhile, it also established foundation for research and development of the analysis software of power response, fatigue analysis and parameter mould for the placing boom.The main research is as the follows:1. Optimization of placing boom structure pivot locationAnalyze the force on placing boom with analytical method, establish mathematical model of the force on cylinder and link, take the force on cylinder as the minimum target, select the optimization method of placing boom struc-ture pivot location for optimization analysis.2. Optimization of placing boom structure based on ANSYS platformDivide grid on the entity model surface and carry out geometry treatment with gridding method, fill information with FEM to form a FEM model, calculate and compare the structural linear and nonlinear rigidity and strength of the placing boom in full extension and horizontal position, obtain the stress distri-bution and deformation of each parts, and analyze and sum up the force characteristics of placing boom structure, in order to make preparation for placing boom optimization.Calculate the structural mode of placing boom in full extension and hori-zontal position, give the vibration shape diagram and vibration shape table of front 6 placing boom sections, and combined placing boom vibration charac-teristics to make qualitative analysis for the boom structure.Primary optimize the boom plate combined with placing boom parameter calculation program, give contrast result, and offer theoretical basis for fur-thermore placing boom optimization design.3. Placing boom dynamic testUse strain gauge to collect the stress and strain data of placing boom prototype in simulated working condition, through arranging the stress and strain data to obtain the strain values along paste direction in paste area, compare and analyze the former FEM result, verify and rectify the FEM result, and provide data support for quick and accurate improvement of placing boom structure.
