The truck-mounted concrete pump is an efficient vehicle to cast concrete ,it is introduced into our country just in recent year. It is centralize highly in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic. It has the characteristic of high automatization, good property of environmental protection, the efficiency of casting concrete is high, and progress is rapid, quality is reliable.It represents the development direction of concrete work machinery, and gets the favour of construction department deeply. Boom structure is a key components of truck-mounted concrete pump. On the one hand,Casting quality and speed lie on the integral stability of boom structure and force rationality,it is same as adaptability to special work conditions.On the other hand,due to high price of the truck-mounted concrete pump,therefore ,the useful life of it determines useful life of the truck-mounted concrete pump. And so,it is very important to carry through dynamics analysis for boom structure of truck-mounted concrete pump. In this paper,I analysis some company's 37 meters boom system of truck-mounted concrete pump,carry through static strength and modal analysis,dynamics simulation analysis under most dangerous operating condition —horizontal overhang for boom system. Based on the software Pro/E and Ansys, and according to the basic step from substance modeling to FEA, we made a FEA of static strength of boom structure in order to get the information about the arm such as quiet stress, rigidity, mode of vibration,By comparing and evaluating the calculating result, we submitted the reasonable suggestion for improving the structure. It would be realized to design three-dimensional substance and take the intent of design and acquire the geometrical model product quickly with the advanced CAD software. The strength and rigidity are two basic requirements for the mechanical capability of product. Traditional method is a kind of method of guaranteeing property requirement according the designing rule, which lacking the verification about the reasonability of designing result. The technology of CAE has offered powerful analysis function to carry out FEA analysis for model. Through that result we could get the stress and strain of random point so to provide the reliable information to optimize the layout of the structure. Firstly, using the Pro/E to design the model. And then proceed the FEA calculation with model, which has been transferred to the Ansys environment according the data interface the software provided. Thus the mechanical capability of the boom structure and the chassis will be acquired. The software of Pro/E has powerful function for modeling. It is fast to get the substance model and convenient to revise the result for designing the model with the software. The software of Ansys could offer the excellent analysis function for FEA calculation to guarantee the precision of the calculation. Because the software of Pro/E and Ansys depend on different cores, so we should notice some methods and skills during the model transferring. Owing to limited computer performance,before model transferring, reasonable reducing is necessary for model,such as chamfer ,axis, axial sleeve between boom and connecting fitting. In factually working conditions, because the arms depend on the contacting between boom and connecting fitting to support force and moment,how to deal connect is the most important in FEA.In this paper,the way is to use DOF coupling for adjaceng nodes lying in every joint.
