The visual system of marine simulator provides a virtual viewing scene in practical training mission for simulator manipulators. The content showed in visual systems should be included of:the surface of waters, the land, humanistic landscape (bridge, dock, buildings, etc.), target ship, navigational aids, lighthouse, and the ownship structure which can be seen from ship bridge, etc. Because vision can provide more than 70% of the useful information for people, visual system is one of the sources of gaining the largest and the most direct information by simulator manipulators. Visual system decides whether a marine simulator is outstanding, a relatively perfect visual system can make manipulators having an immersive feeling. So far, the research results about the motion states of sea floaters such as buoy owing to the impact of sea wave all over the world are very limited, and needs further development and improvement. At present, most researchers use particle system method while simulating various natural scenery, and the effect is always remarkable. This paper includes the following two main aspects of content:Firstly, based on seakeeping and the relevant knowledge, according to strip theory and referencing the equation of ship's heave and pitch in regular wave, meanwhile combining with the data of waves situation at different wave levels mentioned in the thesis written by Professor Yin Yong of Dalian Maritime University, we can get the mathematical model of movement of buoy under the regular wave, and have analysed the movement rules of buoy in regular wave.Secondly, in Visual C++6.0, particle system method is used to simulate the real-time effects of spray around buoy owing to broken sea wave after the impact of regular wave, and the visualization of buoy and spray is completed.
