Electric simulator is auxiliary equipment of underwater acoustic positioning system, it is used to simulate various target signal simulation of underwater acoustic environment, provide analog signals in the early period of the buoy positioning system debugging, plays an important role in the process of system commissioning test. In this paper,in accordance with the need of a buoy positioning system development, molding products was used to construct the hardware platform. In software,it designs the signal generation and transmission control module and display module of the electric simulator, completed the design effort of electrical signal simulator on multi-channel and multiple platforms.This article revolves around the functional requirements of the electrical simulator, built a coherent multipath channel based on analyzing the positioning principle and sounding principle of underwater acoustic positioning system, selectively analyzed the effort of Doppler on the target fast movement and sound ray bending due to uneven sound velocity,established a model of multiplicity channel in the hydrological conditions , the interpolation fitting method in the signal generating module is used for signal simulation.Electric simulator software consists of signal generating module, signal transmission module and a display-control module. Among them, in the signal generating module, it builds a kind of model to simulate the real Marine environment of the coherent multipath channel, in the signal generating module, interpolation fitting method was used to add Doppler information; in the display-control module, it completed the electric simulator system software development of human-computer interaction interface; in the signal transmission module, DMA mode is used to realize the data transmission and synchronization control function.In this paper, electric simulator took part in the laboratory of alignment work, provided qualified and satisfying signal output for the buoy positioning system debugging.
