Modern weapon system has been rapidly developing with high level of technology. In order to meet the needs of the war, more and more important military targets are built under the ground, which greatly promoted the development of penetrating technology and penetrating weapons. Fuze, as important part of weapon system, was used to control the projectile to detonate in time. The algorithm that calculates distance affects directly the reliability and the damage effect of weapon system. Nowadays, this way has become the focus in the field of weapon researching because it can decide whether the weapon should detonate and when it should.Firstly, the projectile penetrating concrete target was simulated using software ANSYS/LS-DYNA, and obtained the signal of acceleration. But the signal could not be directly used to DSP. The card KPCI-823 changed the digital signal which was obtained through simulation into analog signal which can be used to DSP system. Then, the hardware simulation based on DSP system was completed through the rational design. In addition, the factors which affected the algorithm were discussed, such as the initial speed, angle and the shape of the projectile. Some noise may affect the signal, so digital filter is very important. The results showed that the design could complete the calculation timely, and the error was in the requested range by observing the result.
