Combined with modern advanced means of contemporary science and technology, Hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) technology has played a very important role in the field of science and technology, and its application in penetration fuze has a high degree of theoretical significance. Based on the background of the penetration fuze capability evaluation system, the HILS technologies of hard target penetration fuze(HTPF) was discussed, and a HILS platform of HTPF was founded including penetration fuze detection device and penetration acceleration signal library.Through the methods of computer simulation tests and shooting tests, the penetration acceleration signal of targeting into different types of objects was obtained, and according to the difference of penetrating targets, initial environment and projectile penetration types, established penetration acceleration signal library of projectile penetrating into concrete targets, which provided penetration acceleration signals for the HILS of penetrating fuze system. HILS of penetration fuze system platforms are divided into Slave and PC two parts; Slave is based on microprocessor MCU as a processor, including the signal generator module, signal acquisition module and data access module provides penetration acceleration signals for penetration fuze, and detects the corresponding performance action of penetration fuze; On the basis of LabWindows/CVI as development software, PC which is able to call penetration acceleration signals, process and save data of tests results was designed the human-computer interaction interface of HILS system,.Finally, experimental verification was finished for HILS system of penetration fuze, verified different goals and different signals separately, and assessed the penetration performance of fuses. Experimental results demonstrated that HILS system could well meet the requirements of system design, work reliably, possess high degree of stability, and could effectively evaluate the performance of penetration fuse.
