| Manufacturing industry is the basis of the national economy,manufacturing system is just the physical carrier of the manufacturing industry.Because of the complexity of the manufacturing system,it is challenging to analyze and research into the performance of the manufacturing system.Especially in the situation that the market competiton becomes increasingly fierce,how to assess and optimise the performance of the manufacturing system effectively and accurately is the most urgent thing,which every manufacturing enterprise has to face. Taking into account the automotive engine assembly line is the typical representation of manufacturing system,so this paper chooses the automotive engine as the research object and builds the simple model to show the process,the logical and running characters of the real system. According to the actual production data, it can describe the operation condition through running the simulation model and analyzejudge the performance of the system from the simulation output data.For the different demands,improving and optimizing the simulaiton model can provide the scientific,rational help for the decision-making and proposing approaches of the real system.Based on the Petri net theory and the assembly process konwledge of the research object(one type of engine),the paper sets up the Petri net model of the actual assembly line by using the top-down and bottom-up approaches.Under the guide of the hierarchical structure ideas,we build the top model-Petri net model of the flow in order to show the total flow of the assembly line firstly,then create the sub-system model-Petri net model of the assembly units through taking the process as the basic unit.Lastly,the paper establishes the detailed Petri net model of the assembly line by using the bottom-up approach and analyzes the ralationship among the elements of the system by utilizing petri net analytical method so as to sduty the reachability and correctness of the model builded.Secondly, this paper selects the mainstream simulation software Arena as the simulation platform by analysis and comparison, and constitutes the mapping rules from Petri net model to Arena simulation model,then completes the mapping to set up simulaiton model through introducing the assumptions.Combined with the history data of the workshop,it is time to verify the effectiveness of the simualtion model after running it.Lastly, from the simualtion output report,it will find the problems of the real system with careful observation.Based on the actual layout of the assembly line,segregate and reassemble the former processes by the linear programming approach to balance the original assembly line.Then,make good use of the Process Analyzer to analyze the impact situation,which the belt velocity parameter brings to the output of system.On the basis of this scenario,this paper proposes two alternative scenarios using the industrial engineering methods in order to optimize the buffer capacity of the assembly line.Choose the scenario,which has the good simulation result, as the basic scenario.Then,by taking into account all the goals,such as production,resource utilization and so on,we can get the global optimum scenario from taking advantage of the OptQuest optimization analyzer. Finally,in the light of all the previous work,this paper gives some optimization and improvement maesures for the actual system. |
