The vehicle terminal can reflect real-time traffic information with the application of the graphical interface. The connection of the vehicle terminal and control center can be accomplished by simple operation. Meanwhile, equipped with high-performance CPU, the vehicle terminal can analyze and process a variety of data of the vehicle, raise an alarm timely if any abnormal situation happens and ensure the driving safety. With the rapid development of embedded system's hardware, software and all other aspects, people have a higher requirement about the function of the equipment.The vehicle terminal designed and implemented by this article through serial port to receive and send data, the basis function process the data received and displayed speed, direction, alarm information on the screen, at the same time, it can have a voice prompts for the alarm information and voice information. For the functional requirements of the vehicle terminal, the article have a depth study of embedded systems and embedded graphics support systems, and also finish the project development and thesis writing on this basis. See below the mainly work and production:(1) Choose the hardware based on vehicle terminal's requirement, in order to shorten the development cycle, first choose the Winbond development board to fulfill the function that we need, then build the hardware circuit of vehicle terminal according to the hardware framework of the development board. The hardware circuit mainly contains W90P710 which is Processor of ARM7, dot LCD display-RT19264C, infrared decoding, audio decoding etc.(2) Operation system Selection. TheμClinux system will be chosen as an operation system during system selection. Meantime, in order to improve the function of the vehicle terminal, the kernel equipment will be regulated and the device driver ofμClinux will be programmed.(3) The setup of the developing environment of Graphical interface. The developing environment of MiniGUI should be set up on PC. At the same time, the system path should be created and MiniGUI should be transplanted to vehicle terminal board. There should be the running environment of MiniGUI on vehicle terminal board to ensure that the program work normally.(4) Vehicle terminal software design includes the operation for configuration file, receiving and processing of serial data, management of playlist and the setup of overall operation of the menu. It realizes the function of voice messaging, caller ID, alarm, system parameter setting, infrared remote control, etc.
