With the gradual depletion of energy resources and deteriorating environment, solar energy is acquired more and more attention as a renewable energy. According to China's actual situation, to develop passive solar technology is the effective use of solar energy, and is an important way to the harmonious development between architecture and environment. At present, passive solar architecture have a good development in the city, and the architects and owners are constantly looking for ways to reduce energy consumption in buildings, so that passive technology has been widely recognized. But for rural areas, the passive techniques do not go deep into each household. Coal of consumption in rural housing is so huge, but it is very limited the comfortable feeling caused by the high energy consumption. Aim of this subject is to clear the basic requirements from rural residents, and to improve the living conditions of farmers and reducing consumption of residential energy by means of the corresponding passive construction.This study is based on extensive field research foundation. The main purpose is to address the key problems exist in the building in the constraints of rural housing energy efficiency in North China. Study is based on the actual needs of rural residents and rural residential real state of data analysis results, focusing on analysis of the current rural housing design of cold region in China in the residential ventilation and insulation of the basic issues, combined with the use of architectural forms. At last, it is to make construction techniques highly efficient, and get the effect of heat capacity of the technology.The study is based on the results of extensive research. The process is to summarize based on survey data collected, and to promote passive solar building starting from the rural areas. The aim is to promote passive solar house in the countryside and to solve the energy consumption problem in rural residential, and achieve saving Energy in housing. At last, high benefits will create from economic and environmental.
