Study On Regional Transportation Operation Evaluation And Transport Improvement Strategy

Accompanied by the process of urbanization and motorization, China is facing an increasingly severe traffic jams. The traffic problem has became a global issue impacting the normal urban functions and urban sustainable development. Therefore, Conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the traffic operation, grasping accurate causes of urban traffic problem and carring out traffic improvement are of great significance. On the basis of reference to domestic and foreign scholars, this paper conduct some research on improvement of regional transportation planning.Firstly, this paper descripes the necessity of the evaluation of transportation perofrmance and transport improvement, and sums up the research results at home and abroad. This paper analyses the traffic system and the factors of transportation perofrmance, and establish a multi-objective and multi-level index system; from traffic efficiency, traffic safety, traffic environmental aspects to evaluate the traffic operation. determines the indicators system, and choice Fuzzy evaluation model as a comprehensive evaluation method.Secondly, accordance with the evaluation of traffic operation, this paper proposes six regional traffic improvement ideas, summarys the corresponding traffic improvement strategy and builds a framework of regional traffic improvement strategy. From five aspects of the road network, transport facilities, parking systems, public transportation systems and traffic control and management of improvement to improve the regional transportation. And evaluate the improvement with the fuzzy modle.Lastly, with a case study of xiashan district of zhanjiang in Guangdong province, this paper uses the system of traffic operation evaluation and framework of improvement strategy to design program, and make a good results.
