As a new concept rotor system,compared to the conventional rotor,the Electrically ControlledRotor (ECR) had more advantages. In order to carry out in-depth study of ECR technology, a lot ofSynthetical experimental research for ECR was needed. Therefore, it is necessary to build anadvanced ECR comprehensive test system which can be used as the support for the research. Toachieve this goal, the design technology of the ECR Synthetical Test System(ECRSTS) was carriedout in this dissertation.The following is the contents of this paper.(1) To achieve a high level and comprehensive experimental study, according to ECRtechnology trends and existing conditions, this paper develop the design requirements of the ECRSTSat first. After that, according to the design requirements and reference to the relevant test system athome and abroad, an advanced overall program of the ECRCTS was given. Meanwhile, the paperidentified the Initial program of the test-bed system, the model ECR rotor system, the measurementsystem and the control system..(2) After that, the design and detailed design process of the model ECR was given. The designincluded the blades, flap control mechanism, he hub and so on. To verify whether the Aerodynamicof the blade with flap met the design requirements or not, this paper proposed a method foraerodynamic calculation of airfoil with flap, which based on CFD. Then, by the comparing with thecalculated data of foreign, the calculation method was confirmed. To ensure the model ECR meetthe dynamic requirements, the paper checked the inherent characteristics and flutter calculation andanalysis of the blades with flaps.(3) In the thesis, the measurement and control system initial program of the comprehensivetest system was proposed. The control systems included flap control system and the standbody attitude control system. The measurement systems included a variety of sensors, data acquisitionsystem hardware. Additionally, the flap/pitch control system of lower computer software waswritten in C language, and the PC software was written by Labview.(4) The dissertation given a design of test-bed system, which includes the Institutions for rotorshaft pitch.In addition, source of power and transmission scheme of the rotor stand was determined.Furthermore, in order to meet the requirements of wind tunnel the stand body was wrapped infairing units.
