Reclaimed water is an important way of wastewater reuse. Reclaimed water system for buildings is an effective unity that includes obvious social benefits, environmental benefits and economic benefits. The thesis turns to the system optimization on four aspects from the raw water system, water treatment process system, water supply system to water safety protection and monitoring control.Selecting the water sources for reclaimed water systems should be based on water reuse objects, water quality, the actual need of water and various drainage water quantity, water quality, water drainage rules and so on. This paper discusses the different raw water choice of priority order between buildings and residential districts.Optimization studies of the water balance and regulation focus on the raw water regulation pool and the water storage pool, expounding the common adjustment measures on water balance. Through research on the practical project materials, the main reasons impacting the effective volume of the raw water regulation pool are analyzed ,along with the relationship among the regulation pool volume, the raw water pump minimum flow and V0 / V value; for the water storage pool the effective volume of is also concerned about the regulation pool volume, the raw water pump minimum flow and the working water level, directly related to the scale of water treatment facilities.Analytical Hierarchy Process is introduced into water treatment process as the main evaluation method, establishing the hierarchical structure model and through an example, the use of the hierarchical structure model is studied. For the technical and economic analysis on water treatment process, the factors both per ton of water investment and per ton of water running cost are considered as selective analysis. By using the project case, this paper presents how to conduct technical and economic analysis on water treatment process and the analytical results are also discussed.The optimum arrangement on reclaimed water supply network is studied, and the current optimization design methods on reclaimed water network are put forward. The common reclaimed water supply ways are introduced, and through the multi-objective weights graded method, by contrast with the pressure water supply system, pump - water tank supply system and the VVVF system, the VVVF system should be preferred in reclaimed water supply. For the sake of reclaimed water security, water quality standards, water sources, water delivery pipes and the users all should be taken into account, and faced to the problems, corresponding countermeasures are put forward. The puzzles on the water quality monitoring and water system operation monitoring are worker out and strict technical specifications on check and monitoring must be formulated as soon as possible.Finally, with the help of a specific project, the optimization studies are run in the way of the water balance, water treatment process, technical and economic comparison and comprehensive benefits.
