In view of the water supply reliability of residential quarter, as well as the improvement of surrounding environment, the construction of Reclaimed Water system in the residential quarter is the most economic, effective method in the water-short areas. Moreover, the handy, stable output wastewater in residential quarter, as well as the gradually advanced water treatment technology, all these are the favorable pre-conditions for the construction of Reclaimed Water system in the residential quarter. The development of Reclaimed Water system and the establishment of Reclaimed Water equipments in the residential quarter, especially in the city at county level where the municipal drainage network is always incomplete, had double benefits of saving water resources and protecting environment. It not only reuses the wastewater resources, but also mitigates the water pollution, thus achieve excellent environment benefits.The common problems in the Reclaimed Water system in the residential quarter as follows: the expensive running cost because of the bad Water Balance Calculation and big disparity between the design capacity and real disposal ability; the bad water quality which cann't meets related national standard because of unsuitable water treatment process in design, etc. So, water balance Optimization Study, the optimization study on the Reclaimed Water treatment process, and the optimization study on raw drainage system and reclaimed water supply system become necessary. All these study had huge pragmatic significance in guiding construction of the reclaimed water equipments in the residential quarter, as well as adjusting and optimizing those already-built projects so to make sure its standard, effective working.The thesis brings forward the basic principles of reclaimed water system choice, then focuses on Optimization Study of the water balance, the optimization study of the Reclaimed Water treatment process, and the optimization study of drainage system and reclaimed water supply system respectively.In the Optimization Study of the water balance chapter, the microsimulation methodology in sociology is used to establish water balance simulation model in the residentialquarter. It studies the condition of raw water by analyzing the behavior and character of individual using water in the residentialquarter. Unfortunately, the related parameters are not defined because of the limit condition. In addition, there are some problems in the already-built projects, such as the overflow problem in the raw water rush hour, the deficiency problem in the reclaimed water requirement fastigium, thus has to supply large amount of tap water. Aiming at these problems, the thesis first discusses, by specific instance, how to set the effective cubage of equalization tank at the beginning of design process, so to make it matches with the water pump. By analysis the average flux of water pump, the thesis concludes that there should left some spare room for surplus in the design process so to avoid the overflow phenomenon of equalization tank. On the other hand, as to those already-built projects, the thesis discusses how to match up both sides by adjustment and optimization, with the illustrative examples.Moreover, the design of equalization basin for reclaimed water has been discussion, then the paper points different project need different volume of equalization basin. The design should be done according to actual situation not only according to code completely. The final conclusion and suggestion can be given to the designer and user for the water balance reference.While in the chapter of optimization study on the Reclaimed Water treatment process, the AHP has been promoted. At first, the evaluation index system of optimization study on the Reclaimed Water treatment process has been set up from four aspects: technology, economy, functioning, and difficulty in maintenance and administration, and analyze the data in already-built projects according to the AHP calibration. Then, the calibration of data is set up by consulting experts. After the weighing, the biggest index is the comprehensive optimal treatment process. Comparing to the current choice which focuses on the economic index, the multi-level AHP reflection on the aspects of system is more objective, thus the evaluation is more reasonable and scientific.In next chapter, using multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method evaluate the merits of the various drainage way from technology, economy and social environment influence, hence gain an optimal supply system—the VVVF water supply system. Finally, the optimal raw water pipeline and reclaimed water pipeline have been identified through the comparison of various types of pipelines in economic, physical, and chemic aspects.On the optimization studies of water resource system, water treatment process, drainage and supply system, the optimization study has been run by examples.
