As a modern packaging design of holistic systems, the whole packaging of the health wine has involved the brand strategy and packaging design elements constitute the organic integration between functionality and realm of spirit pursuit. From the angle of the overall packaging design, through the analysis of the health wine's packaging design from the market, the paper summarized the health wine's whole packaging design elements between various factors and their relations.First of all, the paper analyzes the packaging of traditional Chinese health wines. It focuses on analyzing the development from time immemorial of the packaging and its existing problems in nowadays. In order to avoid being an armchair strategist in theory, I've done a lot of market research about the necessity of the health wine's whole packaging design.Secondly, from the whole point, according to the existing health wine packaging design, I have analysed its elements based on market survey, including material, shape, structure, graphic design, bottle label, POP, etc, existing different degree of organic connections between these factors; compiling enterprises in the visual image recognition system of visual symbol and puting into use the whole packaging design, delivering external visual image and the internal spirit of the enterprise through the visual elements of the health wine's whole packaging design ,such as shape, color, texture and etc; the whole packaging design not only protectes products use value, but also plays a very important role to strengthen the brand positioning, to build a unique and different cultures from rival products in the consumers' mind; the health wine is the essence of Chinese traditional culture. It will improve the grade and cultural connotation of the whole packaging design if we use traditional elements in it; the overall packaging design is a combination art of planarity and space. It is a creative process that uses different kinds of materials and the processing methods and design ways. It uses material, industrial arts, formal beauty and body language to express the commodity characteristics. These elements constituted an emotional state that can bring consumer different visual perception and experience, thus It affects the consumers to buy.Except for the theory research and analysis, the paper also expounds the theory directly and provides valuable reference for the health wine's whole packaging design through the image data and examples to illustrate.
