Since rail traffics in large-sized and middle-sized cities in China enter into a rapid development era, it seems to be especially important to hold reliable power operation service, thus uniform dispatching operation should be carried out. Traditional power dispatching operation models, such as issuing and receiving orders through telephone or handwritten sheet by operator, easily generate time and energy wasting issues or mistakes, which are inconsistent with modern operation requirements and therefore increase the needs of more scientific operation model.This paper aims at Power Dispatching Operation Model in Rail Traffic, introduces working content and characteristics of power dispatching operation in rail traffic, and analyses each main characteristic of traditional telephone and handwritten model and modern intelligent system model. Integrated with Arthur's practical operation experiences in power dispatching operation system in rail traffic, this paper summarizes advances of intelligent power dispatching operation system on operation order management, generating, process execution and etc., comparing with the traditional model. Moreover, it also concludes particularly operation functions of intelligent power dispatching operation system, such as system management, equipment management, information enquiry and statistics, combined with computer and network platform.Intelligent power dispatching operation system possesses obvious advantages in terms of correctly execution of typical operation order, reducing downtime and etc., provides convenience to practical operation work, and also generates significance on power dispatching system in rail traffic to achieve scientific or intelligent management and enhancement on accuracy, strictness and rapidity of power grid operation management.
