During the Eleventh Five-Year plan, the development in China's railway has lain in the aspects of"high-speed and heavy-duty". The network construction is accelerated and the modernization of railway equipment is promoted. In order to step up the pace of upgrading of transport equipment capacity of main line railway in china, in accordance with the Ministry of Railways'general requirement of"Recommend advanced technology, alliance of design and production, and build the Chinese brand".CSR Qishuyan CO.,LTD has achieved HXN5 high power AC transmission diesel locomotive system technology's integrated innovation and domestic manufacturing,by importing GE advanced design and manufacturing technology.Locomotive axle load is an important technical parameter. Whether the axle load distribution uniforms or not, directly affects the traction adhesive performance, braking performance and dynamics performance. As the largest power HXN5 high-power AC transmission diesel locomotive in China, uniform distribution of the axle load distribution is even more important.In this paper, the vehicle axle load adjustment technology of HXN5 high-power AC transmission diesel locomotive is taken as the research object. Through inquisition and research, we make comparative research in the type tests characteristics of the traditional diesel locomotive when alighting, analyze the factors of uneven pressure, and render some balanced technologies and methods, determine to adopt spring adjustment technology for locomotive axle load; make the force analysis in the bogie frame, cross-section,and vertical section of the whole locomotive, then build the mechanical model;with the analysis of the primary and secondary suspension structure and function is done; according to the main technical requirement of test bench, we design the weighing test device for whole locomotive. Finally, after the test on the whole locomotive and analysis of the test data, we get the weight deviation of each axle and do the spring adjustment. At the same time, we look for the resolution of reducing the axle load when the locomotives designing and manufactruing based on the experimental analysis.
